The Biomedical Neuroscience Institute (BNI) is a private, non-profit corporation located in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile.
We conduct advanced research in neuroscience and train highly qualified individuals. We transfer this knowledge and skills to society through the development of technology, education, and cultural programs.
Our mission is to position the generation of knowledge as a fundamental engine for the social, cultural and economic development of the country.
To this end, we have developed initiatives that have an impact on various communities in the country. Through the contracting of our services or the use of donation laws, we offer the opportunity for communities, professionals and companies, among others, to become part of the mission of our institute.
BNI was born as a Millennium Institute with a focus on neuroscience and biomedicine, which over the years has been integrating other disciplines that complement their knowledge.
At BNI, we are not only interested in advancing the understanding of the brain and associated diseases, but also our purpose is to ensure that this knowledge has a positive impact on people's quality of life. We train highly qualified people, transferring this knowledge and capabilities to society through the development of technology, innovation, education and cultural programs.
